Assad Boulos

For over three decades, Assad Boulos has served as founding president and COO of Houston, Texas-based ANA, Inc. He has overseen ANA’s purchase and operation of 10 retail centers and stores located throughout the Greater Houston area. As a food services operator, he formerly acted as president of the fine dining establishments Café Byblos and E International. With Café Byblos, Assad Boulos created a family-oriented restaurant that served traditional Mediterranean dishes, offered an extensive selection of wines, and provided catering for various events.

Continuing his ventures as a restauranteur, Assad Boulos recruited the acclaimed chef Wasfi Darabi to open Wasfi’s, a casual grill featuring healthy Mediterranean food in a relaxed setting. He launched his latest dining enterprise, Juan Parilla, at the beginning of June 2016. As owner and president of Juan Parilla, he draws on his wealth of business management experience to direct all facets of a restaurant that brings Houston diners inspired and adventurous Latin fusion cuisine.

Assad Boulos possesses an associate degree in business from South Texas Junior College. To help expand educational opportunity in the local community, he contributes his service as a member of the building committee for a new school scheduled to open in the near future.
